Default Non Pop-UP HID Conversion:

Anyone converted the Spectre Werks non pop-up unit to HID. Dont want to spend all my Christmas money in one place..thanks Mike

Yes it is do-able. You will need to space the bulb back about 1/16"

This is teh pattern you can expect with them: (not great, but at the same time not horrible. My biggest pet peeve with the SW kit was the tendancy of the headlights to bounce since the projectors were mounted to the bucket and not the car itself.

i dunno about the sw fixed headlights but i know i did my breathless performance fixed headlights in hid

Was it a kit provided by a vendor or did you make you own? any info appriciated...

I got my 55w kit from Retro-solutions.com Back then the 55w kit was newer and harder to find.

Yes 9006 for both high and low beams.

Ironically, Both high and low projectors have cutoff shields. eI opted to remoev the shield on my high beams because it was pointless to have highs that had the same pattern as the lows.
