I just finished changing my stock all black interior out today for the mod red and black interior and want opinions on how you guys think it looks. be honest i can take it and i think it looks great with the mag red exterior so anyone who was thinking that it wouldnt go together well that has a mag red car i say go for it cause i think the 2 together adds POP!

i am not following you? if you are asking how i got the door panels half red and black and the red glovebox and knee bolster they come that way on certain corvettes

It looks really good. Red is my favorite.

Hey your phone is in the vette. When you get thru vacuuming mine needs washed and vacuumed too. It's freezing here so we won't be washing her this week. Please let us know about your black seat skins.

Don't like the red door handles and I think there is too much red in the steering wheel logo.

Otherwise looks awesome.

i thought about doing the carpet red and changed my mind thinking that it would be a bit too much red. i just wanted a lil pop to the interior and not go too drastic altho with the jake skulls on the headrest makes it kinda drastic but wanted something different to stand out that fits my personality

Do not like:

--steering wheel overlay - it's too red, a "stock" one would look better.

--Shifter handle and HVAC *****. They just dont match anything else in the interior and stick out as "not belonging".

--The "Jakes" in the headrests and center console cover. Our C5s come equiped with over 25 various emblems from the factory. Adding more of anything is just gawdy and yours really stand out as over the top.

-- obvoiusly the E-brake handle needs repair.


-- take a minute and vacuum it out and pick the trash/clutter up - especially before you take pictures of it.

-- IMO the mod red does not compliment the color of your paint.



Otherwise - It looks pretty nice!

the shift **** is temporary and there is no handle on the ebrake cause i am waiting for the shift **** and brake handle to come back from being redone and until then i needed a shift **** but can do without a ebrake **** til it gets back

and it was like near single didgets out today and i was freezing as it was so vacuuming was not in the job duties today lol

Looks good. I've got a Torch Red Coupe and have been going back and forth on a mod red interior for my car. It's just not for me. I really think the Black & Tan looks classy and modern. Im going that direction. Although I don't ever recall seeing any of the Light Oak panels coming up for sale. Are the ones I've seen pictured custom or factory? Mod Oak???

To me, the red in your interior does not go well with the Mag Red exterior. That said, the vendors I would like to purchase seat skins from either don't have a good leather match for Mag Red or they're not willing to provide a sample. ( I guess they don't want my money?) Consequently, I'm still sitting on black leather!

Too many Jakes, too big on HR. The 'wraps' on the door/dash handles... look loose.

The 'mod red' interior can be 'over enhanced', just like any other color theme. RED floor mats would look bloody awfull!

The term to keep in mind is 'subtle enhancement', not in your face overkill.

Those jake skulls on the headrests are WAY too big. If they must be there, they should be much smaller. It looks tacky otherwise.

Other than that, I think it looks pretty good.
