Look for cars painted with HOK Brandywine
Looking for pics of cars painted with House of Kolor Brandywine. Would like see them with a black or gold base. Oh, heck any base color will do.

Thanks, I wonder what the base color's were? I'm looking for something sort of dark but not black cherry. Maybe I'll just do some test panels and see what comes out. If anyone else has more post them up.

Call Caravaggio's. He sent me a pic of a brandywine candyapple painted widebody C5. It is the dark paint you are speaking of. I had my Harley painted the exact color. It looked like black at night under parking lot lighting, but could look like candyapple red in bright sun. Most of the time it was just a beautiful dark candy red/cherry.

Ya, that's a little too bright but a really nice paint job. I'm going to repaint my Z06 starting next month. Currently it’s black with candy red flames over silver. The paint is six years old and besides I’m getting tired of flames and want something simpler. The new paint scheme will be black but with brandywine center stripes. I’ll do a few test panels but I’m leaning towards using a gold base. I’ll post up some progress pics once I start.

Back in the mid 90s I had my 87 Mustang GT painted candy apple red with a gold base and I loved it! Just as the sun was setting you could see the gold come through and the paint just looked so electric! I've always wanted to see what a C5 would look like in that color. It's too bad the guy's shop is no longer in business (I think he moved back to the Caribbean) because he did that paint job for me for his cost, which was only $2300 cash including all taxes, all materials and labor! (he didn't rush the job either, he took his time and did it right) The paint job was perfect in every way, other than the color you wouldn't know it was a repaint, no dust, no runs, no orange peel (he wet sanded it as well). It was a win/win situation because I got an amazing paint job and he got a lot of business because I helped him out by handing out a lot of his business cards that summer whenever anyone asked where I got it painted, and he told me he got at least six paint jobs from those cards I handed out!
