Recent Experience with RK Sport Ram Air Hood?
Looking for people who have recently purchased the RK Sport hood. How is the fit and finish? What was your experience and would you do it again?? Please let me know how you fared!!! My C-5 is in the shop for a repaint and I'm very interested in a hood swap and this one has the look I like. I'm thinking of a purple pearl or candy orange (top and Halo to remain black with black hood graphic.

My friend has that hood. My guy at the body shop said it took a lot of work to get it to fit good. It looks great, but is hell to line everything up! I stopped by to help a bit and changed my mind on the hood! Once you get it on though it looks cool!

I love mine. Been on the car now over 3 years. I have no issues with fitment on mine. The only thing I would say is the bottom of the hood needed some work in making it paint ready. The factory hood liner will go on the hood as well. Rk SPort uses my car as well to advertise this hood. If you need one 725.00 plus shipping

I put the hood on a year ago. The first one I received had a corner cracked off but that is the shippers fault. The second one was fine. Fitment was okay at first, had to play with lining it up. It came out pretty well but not quite as good as stock I would say. My body man also said he would come over again and we could play with all of the panels some more to get it to line up a little better. The biggest isue I have with mine is it doesn't like to close like the stocker did. I have to lower it and then walk around to each corner and push it closed for it to latch. Even that I am sure could be rectified with a little time lining it up. We literally spent an hour or so lining it up which I don't think is too bad really. That and it's is heavier than a stock hood. I love the looks of it and have been considering getting the center painted cyber grey in the same fashion as C5 bears fan which would match my wheels.
