Tire Rack and sales tax problem.
I am a used car dealer and have a tax number so that I don't pay tax for my cars, or the parts that these cars need. I'm sure there are a few of you in the same situation. I want to buy a set of tires from Tire Rack. Since I will be travelling soon I want to pick up the tires at a Tire Rack facility to save on shipping charges. Tire rack says they will be charging the sales tax when I pick up. I explained that I have a tax number, but they have no provision for that.
This seems a bit strange for me.

I'm interested in the answer on this.
It may or may not be the same issue, but I am looking at purchasing a lift from a dealer in FL., and I live in GA. He told me what the sales taxes would be. I told him I lived out of state and there would be no taxes, and his reply was; "there are some things we have to charge taxes on, and if you don't have a resale, I HAVE to charge taxes"
Never heard of these kind of things before

seems like this is something to discuss with Tire Rack not C5 Gen.
