Getting them to stick is the big problem but some have mastered it!

I used the decal first. It began to peel on the edges. Was not satisfied so...........ordered new hood liner and just painted it myself. Took a few days but turned out very sharp!

I used a decal from ebay also and bought some 3M adhesive spray and put about three coats on the decal before applying it to the hood liner. Then used a blow dryer to heat it up and all is good.

Many forum members have made this a DIY project with very good results. And if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, PaulaH can do just about any design you can come up with.

PaulaH does remarkable paint work, what an artist, hope to one day have one of her masterpieces in my engine bay.
I initially went with an embroidered cover that I then glued to a new hood liner and fitted. You can have any design embroidered, very sharp work. I don't believe the co I bought from is a forum member can PM for details if you like.

Hope you like the embroidered version. I invented that design almost 10 years ago. When you are ready for something different in the way of Airbrush design, I know a young lad in my area who does anything we have ever seen on a Corvette insulator and more. Surprisingly, he is less expensive, no Corvette Tax I suppose. He also provides a warranty, very unusual for under hood items.
