Has anyone tried the Windjammer on a coupe
I see a lot of adds for the Windjammer wind deflector. I'm wondering if any forum members use it on their coupe? Does it block the wind noise as it claims?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You guys must not read your big parts mail order catalogs. I've wondered if the windjammer was worth the money myself. Pricey piece of plastic.

Haven't tried it but another option out there to help control wind buffering are these hooks you use (sorry forgot the name) that allow your trunk lid to have about a 3" opening while closed. The only draw back to them is that it allows the exhaust fames into the car when you are at a stopOne ride with them and I never used them again...damn near choked myself to death at a red light, eyes were burning couldn't breath, not a pretty sight .

Here's a link to the Eckler's catalog with the windjammer on a coupe. Most of the Corvette catalogs sell the windjammer but I haven't seen any reviews. I have the trunk clips and they work as well.

Burning Brakes
I was looking into the Windjammer a couple years ago and met someone at a show who had one. We got talking about it and he told me it was not very effective - he wouldn't recommend it to me - especially for the $ ...... sorry

A Friend of mine had one for sale, and gave it to me to try out first. It never got to the point of an actual test, as I didn't care for the flimsy mounting system used to mount it. Not worth the money in my opinion.

windjammer
Hi, I have a windjammer for my C5 and they do work and they do cut down on the wind noise and you can run down the hwy with the A/C on. and they cut down on the turbance in side of the car.
