Default JVC AVX77 owners step in...

Anyone here using this the JVC AVX77 single DIN unit?

http://signature.crutchfield.com/s_1...7.html?tp=5684

Opinions please: How do you like it? Are you using the stock Bose speakers?

Thanks!

Its a nice unit.
I have sold probably 15 of them over the last couple months.

They will not work with the humount lighted install kit. This is what one person told me anyways.

if your interested i can do 499.99 on one for you

I have the JVC KD NX 5000 with Nav and a 40 Gb hard drive. Sound is vastly improved over the stock Blose 12 disk CD. I changed my speakers to Boston Acoustics coaxials and that made a very big improvement in the sound. I think you will be happy with the sound of the JVC. keep the door sub woofers and change the other speakers.

Correct. I'm gonna have to modify my HuMount. I tried to contact them several times to see if they could help me out but they won't respond to my calls or emails.
With that said, I'm yet to install mine. Soon I hope.
Like the new logo/sign. Is that the new sign on the new place?

Thanks Dennis. BTW, I contacted Mark at HU mounts specifically about the AVX77. his reply:

The opening for the JVC unit is taller than most so the amount of area for the lettering is reduced so that I am only able to fit the main Corvette
lettering and had to remove the Chevrolet lettering and engraved line
around the opening.

Thanks D, I will try it again. If not, I will just trim mine up to make it fit.
Sign looks great. Wish you were local.

Already got a response from Mark:

"Hello Randy,

If you can mail the old one back when the new one arrives, I will send you a new faceplate to fit the JVC head unit.
Are you still at the same address?"

I will post up again when it shows up. Thanks for the email address Dennis. Maybe I was emailing to the wrong one???
