Default All new body kit (Widebody) In the works soon!!

Well as I am starting to get finished with my current projects, I think it's time to start another. Here is what I have in mind. It is going to be a totally new Front bumper, Rear bumper will be the OEM with molded in wing (as we had discussed before something in between a Specter Werks and Tigershark) Wide front fenders possibly 1 inch wider, wide rear fenders possibly 2 inch, new sideskirts and a hood.

Now with that said, the rear bumper we know what it's going to look like. However, the rest of the parts is up in the air. To be honest I would like to make something that is a bit more aggressive than what is currently available. I still want it to look good but, I would like to have something that is not so traditional. Of course we will need a test vehicle in the LA area (CA) and that person would get the entire kit for free. We will most likely make the fenders in fiberglass and carbon (like our C6 parts) as well as the hood and sideskirts. This person would get all of it in carbon.

I would like to do what we did with the front lip's. I would like to have all of your input since these parts are for you guys. We can pretty much do whatever we want. We can take a look at current parts and modify them to give us a different look (example, the tigershark front bumper) Our sideskirts, hoods etc. Im going to be looking for possibly some unique Vette parts that were maybe one off or just never produced. I'll also play around on my computer trying to play with parts to see what I come up with.

Anyway, throw your ideas out here and we'll go from there.

Do it! I have the TS rear, but I aint crazy about the TS front and I'd love new fenders although I am not crazy about sideskirts.

like i've PM'd to you before, make a tigershark-looking front that has the corners turned down in a "scowl" instead of a smile and it will look badass.

you also can't go wrong with the tigershark rear/widebody flared combo.

Will keep watching for this. Too bad you are in California - otherwise you could use my C5 for the demo.

If you were in Texas I would let you have my boosted C5 for the mods and I like the TS Butt and a different front would be good, also wider front and rear fenders to match each other so the front does not look out of place with the current wide bodys out there

With this being discussed I would just like to toss out an idea to reproduce the factory skirts. I read somewhere that they are no longer in production from GM and it would be nice to have a place to get them for future reference I don't think there are any aftermarket suppliers of OEM stuff yet. And you all definitely have the resources to do it. Just an idea.

You should make the fender flares that come all the way around the tires so you don't have to add those splash guards in front and back of the flare maybe even include the brake duct . just a an idea

I'm possibly game for a test car, depending on how the kit looks. I would be reluctant to let you start pulling things apart and end up with a Corvette that looks like a Honda Civic. Keep me posted.

i for one actually think the tiger shark rear bumper is beyond hideous. There's very few rear bumper kits, so please make something that sets itself apart from the tigershark or stock.

As far as the front bumper, how about something with a molded in chin spoiler? Something that's actually functional and not just for looks like some of the other glue on ones.

There's no way you're repainting your cars and you know it.

Test car, right here. (2nd or 3rd in line if the other 2 are out).

I've always liked the Mallet hood but i thought the inlet was too big, so i brought the center section forward and closed the opening a little. I like it alot better now.

I posted my take on the TS rear on your other thread so i figured i'd post it here too. I took some heighth off thr spoiler and got rid of the ridge around the lights.

I have an idea for the front bumper....

Tigershark.....not the one that anybody can buy, but a modified replica of the original C5 tigershark that GM built. It's a bit more aggressive looking and has "teeth."

It's just an idea.
