Default TERRIBLE case of mod fever...

I have the modding itch BAD. I want to do a bunch of stuff to my car, but the problem is, I kind of ran out of stuff to do

I have a 99 FRC, here is a short list of a FEW of my mods:

Vararam, 85MM MAF, 90MM TB, TPIS 90MM intake, forged 382 stroker with some CNC ported heads and a healthy cam, Kooks headers, Corsa Indy's, "Dr. Phil" clutch, 12mm Z06 torque tube, D&D built 6 speed with all the upgrades, RPM differential (again, all the goodies and 4.10's) Z06 springs, Bilstein shocks, Hurst shifter, its lowered, has aftermarket wheels on it, different brakes (stock size, upgraded pads and drilled/slotted rotors) blah blah blah.

I went NUTS on my engine bay last year and completely rewired everything. My coils are hidden, I have billet fuel rails and braided fuel lines, and katech valve covers. I removed/hid a lot of the mess and clutter normally found on and around the engine.

I want to do more to my car, but I can't think of what. I was thinking of either C6 Z06 brakes, or just C6 Z51 brakes, and some exhaust cutouts (Because longtubes, no cats and Indy's just aren't loud enough anymore ) but I know that will only keep me happy for a few days.

I was thinking about putting a blower on my car, but my compression is a little on the high side (11:1) and I like to drive my car everywhere, so reliability is a concern.

Maybe it's time I get another project car

I agree, I think youe next step is the interior. If you want a new audio system, maybe go with a DD bezel, some new speakers, and a quality but not obnoxious subwoofer.

A lot of people are going with wrapped interior pieces. I always have and always will hate carbon fiber, but there is also leather and alcantara.

New racing seats and accented interior pieces.

All upgraded lighting. Halos for the rear, HIDs for the front. Smoked/switchback or whatever you want for the turn signals and sidemarkers.

There are a hundred possibilities brother. If you think you are done spending money you are wrong.

I did a head cam etc makeover over a year ago and was ok with the results about 450rwhp thru a automatic but i never did feel the ummmph in the seat from day 1 since then i have totally redone my interior now almost finished with a high end custom audio system blacked out the rear lowered it but leds all over the place breathless performance headlights yada yada yada but i still was not happy with the feel of the power from the seat sooooooooooooo now i have my intior half apart for the audio install found a great deal on a sts twin turbo and backed off the audio right in the middle of doing it to buy the twin turbo so now i have to take half the car apart to sell the stuff i built for the h/c upgrade to have it ready for the tt upgrade it never ends !!!!

You need help bad!

Oh, how about interior upgrades? No point in doing audio upgrades. You won't be able to hear it anyway unless you have.

Here is what I think you need.
1. Coilovers.
2. NOS. About a 150 shot.

Drive and enjoy what you already bought. Spend more money on gasoline and a bit less on "mods"

Sounds like you need to trade me cars and start over.

But seriously, have you put a HUD in yet?

Driving it is ok for now but in 3 months when I'm parking it for the winter is when I will really have a problem. I want to put a nice stereo in it, but I *HATE* how most aftermarket decks look. Nobody makes a simple, clean, tasteful deck. They all look like they belong in a space ship, and I hate that.

I already have a DSV leather wrapped console, shift boot, parking brake boot, etc. I did the aluminum gauge bezels, and the airbag inserts. I'm thinking of getting new seats but I don't want to buy some without sitting in them first.

Coilovers are nice, but I don't want to lower my car any more than it is. I live in Michigan, we have some pretty chitty roads

Haha, I'm fairly attached to mine! HUD doesn't really interest me, but it might be something to do!

I'd prefer not to tear this motor apart, it runs amazingly well and has been extremely reliable. I want a blower, but I also want a car I can hop in and drive across the country at any time if I want and not have to worry about it.

Haha, I've already done it! My mods have mods! I'm just trying to think of what else to do. Again, with the blower it isn't spending the money its the adverse effect I feel it would have on reliability.
