Default BCM (Body Control Module)

I'm in need of instructions on location of BCM and how to remove and replace the Body Control Module on a 1998 C5 Vert. My local dealer would not give me any info to help me out. Parts person was not Vette smart. Also will I need to have the system re-programmed ?
Thanks,
Jerry

Why/how do you know you need to replace the BCM??? If you don't know where it is located you don't likely know that the BCM is a problem or the source of problems you are experiencing. Have you pulled the codes yet?? What code(s) say you must replace the BCM??

BCM is located in the passenger footwell to the left of the IPC fuse box and is the large silver box with 3 large connectors on the side. If you did have to replace the BCM there are several procedures that you need to go through before the replacement is complete and all the systems (RPO's) installed in the car function properly.
