Low Weight 18/19 Wheel Combo ?
Guys:
Just researching for a 18/19 low weight wheel combo. One day I might change wheels.
Basically I'm looking for something that will be:
1.) Close to OEM C5 Z06 wheel weights.
2.) Same offsets/backspacing as C5 Z06 wheels (just 1" larger diameter).
I'm not into wheels/tires sticking out from the fender.
(C5Z 17x9.5, 54mm offset, 7.2" backspacing - C5Z 18x10.5, 58mm offset, 7.9" backspacing)
3.) Allow a C6Z Big Brake setup.
Show me what you got !
Thanks !

From some of the threads I have read in the past CCW makes rims that are lighter than the stock Z06 rims. B.T.W. if you ever sell your wheel/combo I am in line to pick them up first. Love your setup.

I think the CCW Classics are a bit lighter. Close I think.
If your wondering.... I'm just thinking about a change in wheels. Not because there is anything wrong with my SP500's.
I am leaning towards the CCW C10. John at CCW Told me that he can make a 18/19 combo. The web site says 18x13 is 24.3lbs. I can only hope to knock off 4 lbs by making a 18x9.5 (3.5" narrower). Hopefully the 19x10.5 will be a bit lighter also. If I ever pull the trigger I will speak with CCW about the weights in more detail.

I found these, but only available in 19's and 20's but very light.
COR Forged F1 Brava. The picture below is a 20x9. The 20x11 weighs approximately 20.4lbs so I would imagine the 19's would be in the 18-19 lbs. range but they're kinda pricey.
Edit: I found some light wheels available in 18's and 19's, Savini SM1 and SM2, both under 20 lbs. but again pricey.

This is a bad shot of my car. Its not Pewter I swear... Not sure why my camera made it look that way...
Just me messing with the Silver C10's.... Now imagine that there are brakes in there too... .
Here is a pic of them on a Z06 (Grey 18's).

Just looking around to see what options are out there since last time I was researching wheels, and weights.
I tried heavy wheels before (~4 yrs ago/cheap China replica's), and NEVER again do I want to feel that feeling.... It felt like I was driving a 300HP, heavy 3900lb Mustang....

IMO the sp500's are the best looking light weight wheels out there. I hope I can afford a set one day.
Although the C10's are nice wheels, I think you'd take a step down if you went with them.
