I finally got around to doing mine today. Took about 1 1/2 hours to do the drivers side (that's the only side that needed it right now).

It's not the 0 to 100 that is the big deal. (on an approved race track I am guessing)

its the 100 to 0 that the bad seat really makes it's presence known.

I haven't tried either one of those scenarios yet. But it is better than before. I can tell that just by driving around the block.

Put the new bushings in this weekend. My old bushings were completely disintegrated. They looked like black grease.... It's so nice to not be moving all over the place now.

Is this still available? I went to the link http://shop.radioflyerinnovations.co...pacers-006.htm
and these spacers are not listed anywhere on the site.

I am out of stock of these at the moment. I'm meeting with the machine shop manager tomorrow to discuss another batch that can be created faster with closer tolerances.

Newly designed spacers are now back in stock. The new spacers are made of UHMW Polyethylene for an ultra-low friction coefficient. This reduces both heat and stress on the motor.

See post #1 for the link to purchase.

It's supposed to be "NOW"

This is what happens when you try to think before breakfast

Default Plastic part broke...

The plastic part that slides in the track just broke and I ordered a metal replacement kit. Do you think I should use the shims you have over what came with the kit in the pic and link below? Do you think I will have to sand the ones with the kit?

I have not seen the kit you have before so I do not know if it will fit without sanding. Given that it is vehicle specific, I believe it should fit without any problems.

I know this is an old thread........but since I am now an "old" guy with an old C5 (99) I am just now fixing my rocking seats ;^( and recovering my seats.
Did any of you who did the RS fix add any new lube when you reassembled your seat racks?
If so, what did you use?
George, I bought one of your original kits (8)way back in 2010 and hung them up on my to do wall. Wish I had waited for the improved version ;^) I liked the "new spacers are made of UHMW Polyethylene for an ultra-low friction coefficient. This reduces both heat and stress on the motor" description.
