Common problem. Your running lights have melted holes in your plastic light housing. Now water will get in when you wash your car or drive in the rain, the water breaks your hot bulbs.

People have fixed this by using aluminum foil tape and epoxy to seal the holes. Also windshield sealant has been use to seal really small holes.

Good luck !

BTW, nice car and beautiful garage!

Looks like new lamp units are needed. I inhibited my DRLs and I've never had that problem.
Pulling the A2 fuse is the easiest.

Kevin, after discovering the same burned holes at the top of my directional housings (from excessive heat caused by the halogen strength bulbs on all the time)... rather than do a "band aid" fix on the housings... I replaced the burned housings with new ones as you did.

Don't wait to see if the new housing will burn through... if they're plastic... they will!

Kevin, listen to Dave (DeeGee) either replace your bulbs with LEDs… or pull the #2 fuse! I pulled the #2 fuse from the right side engine compartment fuse box and never looked back.

All directional signals and running lights work properly. The only thing I lost was the beep and lights flashing when I activate the key fob lock so, I stand close to hear the locks clicking closed.

Activating the key fob-unlocking feature will see all of the parking / running and interior lights activate for entry.

Although I liked the DRL idea I didn't like having to replace burned housings so, I run with my running / parking lights on during the day.

Nice looking garage!

Semper Fi!
