I saw the title of your post
I saw the title of your post and decided to jump in I am looking into a system where I can lower the stance of the car while driving and raise it when entering a parking lot or going over speed bumps. I will probably go with a hydraulic over gas system. If I find something I'll share the information.

just my 2 cents worth, but you are probably looking at some type of airbag suspension system (similar to those found on the "low riders" type cars). i'm not certain about other systems, but those can be controlled while you are in the car and even moving if you wish from a series of switches inside the vehicle. you can even go so far (if you wish) of using individual controls for each corner of the car. check your local hot rod shop and see what they might be able to tell you.

Use dropped spindles and you maintain the original geometry...

Or maybe adjustable coil overs?

There is a company that makes air ride suspension for several vehicles and it is designed for performance applications but they do not offer anything for a corvette. But maybe if they get enough people that want a system for their corvette they may start r&d on it.
If anyone wants a link then pm me because it obviously isnt a forum vendor.

that answer is no. the handling would definitely be compromised some depending on the type of system you choose. you might be able to get something pretty close to OEM as far as handling, but it would be hard to do and would probably be on the higher end cost wise of all the options available.

You are going to have to dish out the big bucks to get a system that handles better than factory on airbags. The company that I was referring to in my earlier post is not cheap its about 4-5000$ and Im not sure if you can adjust the ride height while moving.

The aftermarket company referred to is Ridetech. They have proven countless times that air ride suspensions can be made to equal or better, on road courses, conventional suspensions with professional drivers driving some of their demo cars on road courses. They have systems where you can adjust all four corners of the car individually. If they made kits for Vettes, you would be able to raise the nose for driveways, etc. The Pratt & Miller street car is the one Leno has that has that feature built in. There is one production car that has that feature, the Lamborghini Murcielago, but you need about $350,000 to get it.
