Soon to be in production in 2011 is the Jake Grand Sport Special Edition and 2011 Z06 Carbon Edition.

Were the old ZR1's considered special?

I think the ZR1 was just an performance and handling package.

That doubled the price of the car! There's one here on Craigslist, a 91 with 10 miles, never titled too.

Or what about the 1961 & 1963 Tanker Z06s?

There are many of these, some were just Decals slapped on at the Factory.

How about a 67' BB Roadster or the New ZR1? Or the old ZL1 in the late 60's

I don't think they were built as "Special Editions".
Rare option for sure.

Thanks.
I think all of the above would fall into the same category as the Z06...just another option not a special edition.

I think that all, including the LT-1s, would all be just rare options. Thanks.

Don't forget about the 2003 Milestone Edition cars - only about 90-100 were made out of 1000 originally planned.

There ia also the Hertz Edition. I realize it was never an option to the general public, but Hertz is now selling them. There are a few on the internet in my area.

The LT1's had a sticker on the hood . Doesn't that make it a special edition
