So i decided to change them out for some DEPO's after the 5th malfunction. Not Sure i like them better but they are growing on me. I also added an ACI Splitter from JW motoring.

Cell phone pics until i get my Camera back from the girlfriend.

Yes it is! Putting both the lights and the splitter suck without some helping hands just a heads up on that. Bring a friend!

Ps: Ive had to replace the motor on my driver side light. Then the driver side light would go down and come halfway up on its own. Then The driver side light started getting loose all the time from the crappy roads down here. Then the light would not come up all the way. Lastly the lights came up and wouldn't go back down. I was at my wits end with these lights. I would have fixed the issue but figured something else would go wrong in a phew months like it always does.

Have you considered painting them to match the body color? Might look good.

Nice mod and pics! I know C5R lights have a love them or hate them response from many in the C5 forum, however I think you pulled off the look with the fenders stripe, etc.

I personally love the pop-ups as I think they bring out the personality of the C5 however I have not had any gear issues (yet) and especially after I added JWM's ACA HIDs. IPlus, I would estimate 75% of my driving is during the daytime when the pop-ups are absolutely stealth!

Yes i thought about it. But i painted them black to match the rest of my cars look. If i ever get around to repainting my front bumper i will have them painted body color. But for now they stay black.

I agree with the lights down the Vette looks sick! But i just couldn't take fixing them constantly. I think the nasty roads here in Cali might be the culprit.

I'll keep my pop ups, that's what makes the C5 unique and a part of history as being the last mass produced car with hideaway headlights.

I can dig! I really was never a fan of the fixed headlights on these cars but i just got to fed up with fixing something on the lights every couple months. I kept my stock setup so if i ever want to go back i can. But for now they stay. They are growing on me now that the splitter is on.

Plus with them HIDS they are way better lighting is amazing now!
