Rear letter inserts (opinions please)
Hi all... I wanted to get some rear letter inserts (possibly front too even though I have a front license plate on the car at the moment) and I would like your opinion.
I was thinking of something more *girlie* looking... perhaps- reflective purple (found online but I want to email and ask if it reflects in purple or white). Or should I just go with the usual reflective black (had those on my silver firebird) or stainless steel just to be safe?
I do not want too many colors on my car and in the future i would like to have silver stripes... So for right now I have a black/white combination going on if you count the 15% window tint.
For the first time, i want something to look girlie or at least indicate that this is a female's car. lol

They come in Carbon Fiber and that would go good with the silver stripe but would not be girlie. Maybe a good airbrush artist could paint the indentations pink or purple if you really want a girlie look.

Have never seen a set of letter inserts like you mention so hard to have an opinion on them. IMO, stainless steel always looks good although they are not too girlie looking. If you want to stay with a black/white theme, go with the black lettering.

Go for stainless and get a personalized plate that indicates your a lady. That would be classy yet advertising your tastes too.
How about VETGIRL or C5CHICK

Bumper letters ?
I dunno about stainless steel, I would think the expanding and contracting would cause the adhesive to be tested one times too many and you only find out from parking your car in your driveway 15 miles from work (at which point they were all there when you left) that you corvette is missing one of the 'T' . And no, they won't break up a set to sell you one T.

I think the Red looks great with the Blue !! Any issues with the install ?? Seems pretty straight forward but since you just did it, any thought tips for someone contemplating this ???

If it's a vinyl sticker than a spray bottle with water and a little dishsoap mixed in it will help. Spray the area and then place the sticker into position. Press out any bubbles and let dry even use a hair dryer to really make them stick. Some time in the sun will help promote adhesion too. After that enjoy.

Correction on my part.
I was just wondering if they hold on, and on that point I was wrong and folks who have done them, I guess they stay on. I did a graphics on the inside of my 2003 50th Anniversary coupe. I cleaned alll the surfaces and used a 3M product called #4298 Adhesive promoter. And on my car the graphics are like their welded on. but these are silicone and got them from cyberdinegraphics.com But I'm happy that I was worng on my part.

I've had SS lettering front and rear for a couple of years, they're there to stay-even hooked my duster on the "point" on the "R" a few times, and it's not going anywhere...
