Default ALMS Corvette Racing

The first race of the 2011 American LeMans Series is underway. We always attend the ALMS race at Laguna Seca and have a great time.

So, how many of you follow Corvette Racing in the ALMS series?

All the time. They qualified 2nd for the race less than 1 sec off the pole.

Team Corvette finished 3rd and 4th today. The BMW M3 team placed 1st and 2nd.

I follow them all the time. I am aware that ALMS allowed BMW a new more aero frontend which I am sure helped them turn in the times they did. I also read that ALMS added a a smaller air restrictor to the Corvette's. Not sure this is true, but I would not put it past them. They sure do not want Corvette Racing to start winning again.

Yeah, but they finished fourth after getting taken out by Long Duck Dong and his flyin frog Porshe while they were second. Great drive to get back after so many laps down.

Not so much since they handicapped LG Motorsports by pulling chicken%$# under the table tricks to deny LG a place on the track. So it's not like watching a real race competetive Corvette team now. It's more like watching a 2nd rate team.

What a shame...guess we can just watch the B team come in 4th or 5th even if that.
