I got mine yesterday and did the installation this morning. It was moderately difficult, but that's because the instructions weren't super clear. I found instructions online, and they helped a little, but the biggest time consumer for me was assuming the plug harness orientation was the same as stock. I lined up the little nipple with the clasp on the car's plug. Finally, after looking at the plug, I saw the + and - marks on it, flipped it 180 degrees, and viola, let there be light! I probably could've had it done in 20 mins if I had simply looked at the pos/neg marks. I didn't even need the cable extensions, though the passenger side harness is a bit tighter than the driver side.
No problems dropping the headlights either, so no additional resistors needed! Looks great, and I will directly see the benefits of HID illumination tonight!
Thanks!
Mike

There is a box on the product page where you can add them to your order. They are optional. The buckets will still function without them, you would have to flick your high beams on though to get them to close. We made them an optional part by request as some customers did not want that part.
I cannot find the box you speak of anywhere under the HID lights.

Ordered these and the low beam HID's last week, also got the resistors also. I haven't installed yet as I just ordered the switch back and plan on doing them all next weekend.
