Default [PICS] Carbon Fiber ACP Extractor Hood Installed

I picked my car up from Corvette Center yesterday after having my new ACP CF hood installed. I also had tons of rock chips, so I had them repaint my nose, headlight covers, front fenders and mirrors at the same time. If you are near their shop in Newington, CT and need any bodywork, I can't recommend these guys enough, they did an amazing job. Thanks to Ray, Phil, Frenchie and the entire crew that had a hand in completing my car.

Onto the pics. FYI, the exposed carbon fiber center really POPS and has great 3D depth in direct sunlight, unfortunately sunlight was not to be found today. I'm just happy the rain held off long enough so I could take these pics.

Kool! Cannot wait for mine to come! I was told it should be shipping out by Wednesday. Did you also paint the underside or did it come that way? How was the fit? Much prep work. Could you PM me the ballpark you paid to have it painted/ Thx!

You're going to love it, completely changes the attitude of the car. I had the underside painted satin black, it was pretty rough and definitely needs to be painted. The fit was very good, they said it needed some tweaking, but nothing crazy. It needed a good amount of prep to work completely smooth out the surface wavyness. Corvette Center had a car in the shop with the same hood that didn't look great to me (lots of waves in the surface) so they used Duraflex to smooth it to perfection. I'll PM you what I paid.

That is the one I plan to get, looks great. Is the whole hood CF? Did you buy direct from ACP?
