Default GHL Bullets vs: SLP Powerflo (Sound)

So I had the SLP Powerflos on when I bought my c5 Z06 and I loved the loud idle and low speed sound...BUT the drone through 4th gear was absolutely killer

I am considering the GHL Bullets as I hear they are very low drone, but I have not had a chance to hear them in person

How do the GHL's sound outside the car at idle and at low speed compared to the SLP? to Stock?

I am ready to buy the GHLs but if they are not very noticeably louder than stock at idle and low speed I'd rather not spend the money

Other companies have tried to copy our design but with no success......

I tried but it is hard to do a comparo with so few cars. The few videos I did find all varied in sound due to mic placement and mic quality, were skewed by the car being in a garage or being launched, or were of cars with built motors

With that said sadly I am still on the fence based on youtube clips. I know peoples descriptions will still be skewed by personal preference, but it is still 1 more bit of information for me. I figure if someone has heard the SLP, Stock Ti, and the GHL's they would be able to make a pretty good comparison on the sound

thanks for the help guys

I prefer the sound of the GHLs. I ran the PowerFlo's on my old C5, but I'm sorry to say they both drone

That sounds great buddy! What is done to your car motor-wise?

Also do you have and outdoor - start-up, idle, and low rpm cruise videos?

Maybe the folks at GHL can take a video like this on a fairly stock Z06 (I have intake, headers, and xpipe)

Really? You are one of the few to mention the drone on the GHL. Now I am sure every exhaust will have some drone if you are looking to gain noise, but was it anywhere near the drone of the SLP?

Also what was done to your motor? I have been reading some of procharged and built motors having drone on the GHL

I've had my GHL's for two years. Absolutely no drone. Love the sound, too. They are the only catbacks I would buy. My 2 cents.

So how would you describe start up, idle, and low speed cruise from outside the car
