Default C5 ZR carbon fiber fenders.

Hey all,
Our 2000 pewter FRC got backed into by a truck today while parked (other side of a parking lot away from all of the other cars). It needs a drivers side fender, left headlamp, front bumper cover, and of course paint work.
My question is as follows: has anyone used the C5 ZR carbon fiber or duraflex genders listed on the auction site? If so, how was the quality, fit, and finish? Are they worth the money?
Just thinking this may be a way to alter the look a bit without emptying the pocket book.
Thanks!

I was the one that designed them, I can get you a better deal than the auction site The fit is ok, but it does need some work. I prefer the carbon myself over the duraflex for the fenders since they are more rigid (needs to support the front bumper) There are a few board member with these on their car. Here are mine on my Z06

Don't mind the dirty car, lol it had rained.

And a customers car

Wow! Those look great! Is it necessary to use that bumper? I would like to keep the stock style front bumper due to running a Vararam.
Cam you pm me with some pricing on the CF pieces? Zip code is 53188.
Thanks!

Sent you a PM. You can use these with your OEM front bumper as well

The more I see them, the more I like them. I noticed the red coupe has flared fenders in the back. Are the ZR front fenders wider than stock? I don't plan on changing the rear fenders and I wouldn't want the car to look funny. Does the Z06 have the stock rear quarters?

No the ZR fenders are the same width as oem. My Z06 has the factory rear quarters ( for now)
