***This is what happens when the wife drives the Vette!!!***
I came home from work today and had to go to a few places, so I took the Vette. As I was walking towards the car I saw some white stuff under the nose of the car, I bent down and saw it, I could have bursted into tears as my front nose was painted 2 months ago. My wife drove the car a few days ago and I have told her many times that she needs to pay attention a lot more when driving the Vette. Don't park close to parking blocks, always a 45 on curbs and driveways, avoid speed bumps, watch out for potholes etc......
I am very upset at the fact that she did not tell me about it, and I know she herd the scrape when she hit the parking block. She is insured for $500k...... and it was a quick thought! She will never get behind the wheel of it again.
Don't ever let your wives or girlfriends drive your car!!!

I too recently took my 88 C4 for a trip and noticed that it too had been kissed by a parking block or curb right on the front center position. It also had a new paint job on it 3 years ago and was pristine....not anymore!
I asked my girlfriend about it.......and it was like "I didn't hit ANYTHING!"
I gave the car to her...so I said Yes you did, but it's not the way to treat a Vette. Some things you just have to let go.

This is why my wife never drives my Vette. She has a problem judging distances, and scrapes the curb whenever she drives my Durango. I shudder to think what she would do trying to park the Vette!

again , but this does explain how/why you have enough spare parts that you could build another Vette . Every time I see a part I want or need, you've beaten me to it. Then I just wait for one of your sales. L8R ZFLASH

She didn't want to buy the car, so it was "my" car until she started driving it. Now she's nice enough to let me drive it when we both go places, but it's mostly "her" car and she loves it!
I would drive it daily myself but I have a company provided work vehicle I need to use...
