rear shock? spring?
Need help? K, I lowered my 01 with longer bolts. Drove for about 10k. Now I bought some 295/40/18 tires, and I wanted to raise it bad up. So, I installed the factory bolts, about 1 mo later its sagging in the rear again, and rides like crap. Very bouncy! Do I need new shocks? New spring or both?? Just hit 36k

Are you sure something just didn't come loose when you reinstalled the factory bolts? If it rode well before, it should be fine now I would think.

(1)Inspect you spring very closely and see if the spring has CRACKED - it's rare but it happens.
(2) Closely inspect your shocks for leaks, might need to pull them off and do a close inspection.
(3) Check the Bolt closely
If in the even the spring is good and the shocks need replacing then the best price is the C6 Z06 shocks.
Thanks,Matt

Well it rode nice when it was stock, but I don't remember how smooth it was, since it felt like it was on the bumpstops when lowered. When I changed tires i raised it back up and did an alingment. I'm thinkin after the new bolt were installed it settled and is now lowered. But with the taller tires its hard to tell. I do know, if I push on the rear of the car up and down, its bouncy. Same as riding down a bumpy road. Think I'm going to order some new shocks, and do a inspection on the spring. Riding on the highway its fine. I think the lowering killed my shocks. Thanks

It sounds like a blown shock.
