When you use a fuel system cleaner, which one ?
While we're talking about fuel in another thread, we're were talking about about fuel system cleaners, fuel line, injectors and other types of "Pour in the tank cleaners", What is the best ? What have you used that was the most effective of the lot ? I'm sure some of you folks have an opinion ? Let's hear them ?

Techron by Chevron. There are so many people on this forum who have used it successfully. It has helped many users with inaccurate and sticky fuel gage senders, myself included. If you're having a fuel gage problem a couple of bottles will usually fix the problem. An occasional bottle will prevent it from happening. In general it is just good to use, I use it in all my vehicles.

Fuel system Cleaners !
Well I've seen Chevron Techron, and BG44K and Lucas make a fuel system cleaner, I wonder how they work. But your quite right, Chevron Techron is the winner in the favorites class.

Techron for me.

Won't be using Seafoam anytime soon. Put it in my F250 deisel and apparently it swelled the o-rings some where in the fuel system, causing a good bit of leakage. All returned to normal after my next un-treated fill up.

The issue with the fuel gauge is that sulfur builds up on the fuel sender. Techron is supposedly formulated to clean up sulfur so it's the favorite here.
I can't find it in England so I've used a Redex product which seemed to work too.

Yep,Techron is good and BG44K seems to be the strongest cleaner.I use Amsoil Pi in all my cars at oil change time.
Does a good job for temp cleanup.

Ya know, oddly enough the guys and gals over in the Porscheforum.com folks had been talking about "Piston Slap" Yes, even Porsche's have piston slap, and at that price of a Porsche you'd think WTF ? But they have it also, so they recommended the BG44K and it does work for about 350 miles but the piston slap slowly comes back.
