My New Interior (Pics)
After a couple of false starts over the past year, I have finally completed my new interior.
First, I would like to thank all of the forum members who provided their input and ideas when I was deciding whether or not to go with a mod red or a mod gray theme per the thread below:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...d-or-gray.html
Second, I would like thank all of the forum members (again) who provided their input and ideas when I was choosing the actual seat skin design per the thread below:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...in-design.html
I would also like to thank the following forum vendors who provided the great products and services:
- Double D Mods
- American Hydrocarbon
- Vette Essentials
- CCA
- RPI Designs
- RaamAudio
- Down South Vettes
A special thank you to Dennis at Double D Mods and Matt at Vette Essentials for putting up with yet another picky, PITA Corvette owner who had to get things perfect and kept making changes to his order(s).
Below are the pics...
Before:
After:
One of the things I really like about the Vette Essentials seats are the built in map holders in the back of the seat...
...but then I realized that I now have a NAV System!
New Stereo - Sorry, no pics of the new door speakers:
Stealth and still plenty of room for the golf clubs cart bag!
A few pics of the insulation and the "ugly" work:
Just in case anyone wanted to know what a C5 door panel looks like with the vinyl stripped off and the bottom section removed for the SEM dye...

Thanks for all the compliments. I took the pics earlier this evening and the camera flash distorts the gray in most of the pics. I am going to snap a couple more pics tomorrow during the daylight.

Great choices for the interior. Your car looks stunning.

Vette Essentials quality is second to none. It's what the car should have had in the first place.
