That is one fugly unit...what all the auto designers at GM get laid off? The janitor had to take over and came up with this abortion?

Uhhhhhh....that's the new Corvette Daytona Prototype race car, it's not a street car by any means! Corvette is going racing in the Grand Am series next year.

For those who follow racing, this is an incredible beast.

This is a huge step forward for the Corvette racing program.
There will be four of these running in the Daytona Prototype devision next year.
It's amazing how much GM / Corvette learns in racing. Eventually allot of the knowledge acquired from racing gets implemented into the Corvette production cars.
These are the only DP in the series cars that look remotely close to the production cars.

That is an awesome looking race car
Not sure why the haters are hating. It's a race car not a street car. I am sure there are some design guidlines they have to follow to qualify, just like NASCAR.

If the C7 is anywhere close to that.
