Received a 'low oil' on DIC just now ..short ride to work, 2002, 25k miles. Checked the dipstick and it's full... what gives? maybe just a false alert? pls help!
Did you check the oil when the engine was hot or cold? A cold reading could cause a false reading per owner's manual.

I am getting the low oil message on mine but when I start mine is just shuts right back off , oil level is fine and the oil Guage starts to come up but the engine shuts off .
