Default Never hurts to keep you Corvette running cool! Check it out!

There's a lot of benefits to keeping your Vette cool!

That’s why you should have a Cool It!

Here is SacCityCorvette’s latest version of the Cool It v2 and v3 Remote High Speed Fan Controller for your 1997-2004 C5 and C5 Zo6.

Now you can control your C5 Corvette's radiator high speed cooling fan with the simple push of a button on your wireless FOB, allowing you to control your radiator coolant temps. No need to pay for a expensive tune to change your fans on/off temperatures or running you’re A/C to cool the engine, along with all the unnecessary wear and tear and fuel mileage loss that goes along with running the A/C.
The Cool It v2 and v3 now run on their own circuit and will not interfere with the normal computer controlled operation of your cooling fans.

Installing the Cool It v2 and v3 is a very simple five minute plug and play installation. (See our installation video) After you install the Cool It v2 or v3, you will be able to turn on the right side cooling fan on in high speed mode using a wireless FOB making it perfect for when you are at the track and you want to cool down between runs, in traffic and idling in parades. It will even help keep your Automatic Transmission running cooler too!
Preseason price is only $99.95!

Watch our installation video and see how easy it is to install the Cool It!

Maybe i missed something or was reading too much into it. This install was for a C5 but the engine cover showed an LS7 which is a 2006 and newer Z06. On those models the battery was in the trunk of the car, not in the engine compartment.

Will this mod work on the C6's too?

Hi bearphoto,
The cool It is for a C5. The C5 shown has a 440 stroker with a LS7 top end. We don't have a Cool It for the C6 yet but we are working on one.

I have one of these on my car and can tell you it makes a big difference. I took my car to Thunder Hill last year and this little gem allowed me to keep my temps low between runs.

Works like a champ and these guys stand behind everything they sell (I also run their FANGS on my C5Z).

I have a gereration II V2 on my vert and I must say it does do the trick in warm weather and traffic. Just have to remember to turn it off when you park.
Does the genII V2 interfere with the auto feature of the fans? What's the difference in the V2 and the V3? Maybe I need a V3, huh?
Great product, thanks!

Hi Pete,
The new V2 and v3 turn off when you turn off the key so you don't forget and run the battery down. The key also has to be in the ON/RUN position to run the Cool it. We had a few people run their batteries down and complain, so we listened and made changes. So now its more user freindly.
We did some internal upgrades to heavier duty electronics to solve a reliability issues on a few of them. The new ones run the fan only in high speed mode.
No difference between v2 and v3, its just the orientation of the relay in the fuse box determines which one you use.

Thank you! I will be ordering the new V2 to eliminate my leaving it turned on. I'm darned near deaf, so I can't hear the fan running, sometimes. They really do the job!

It seems to me the O2 sensor has nothing to do with the fans. Is it that you just needed a switched power source and this one was convenient? Or is there some other reason????

Thanks 8VETTE7.
Having installed one of these last summer, I think I can help you with this question.

The #15 fuse spot is just used for a power source. The unit comes with a replacement 15A fuse as well as a dedicated fuse for the Cool It. It took me all of about 10 minutes to install this thing and I was a bit OCD about running the wires so they're hidden.

Nice little mod for those of us in a warmer climate or if you track your car.

Hi 8VETTE7,
We just needed a convenient switched power source and since the CoolIt draws such a small amount of amps we used fuse #15. Also, as you see, the CoolIt has its own fuse so if for some reason it should ever fail and blow the fuse, it will not affect the #15 circuit.
Let me know if you have more questions!
