So there will be no issues with the buckets going down? I've heard you have to turn the brights on first then turn them off before they go down. Any validity to this or will the resistor prevent this from happening?

Thats why you order the resistor. It prevents the high flash method from having to be performed.

The bulbs will produce the same amount of light. The projectors just focus that light and project it in a more controlled pattern. If you want to take the lighting up a notch past the simple HID mod, thats the way to go

PIAA Housings? If so, I would need the bulb code they use. We can get any bulb on the market that you need.

There was a vendor on the forum that sold a kit for those who did not have factory fog light,it was piaa I think 1100 series, came with a wiring harness and directions, all you had to do is get the switch for inside, real easy job to do. I was thinking getting a matched set from you but maybe I'll just get the projector headlights and see how the piaa's look with them.

Do do you need a special High beam bulb for those of us with the ACA housing or will just the standard 9005 HID replacement bulb work ??

I have these lights and they are so worth the money and time spent putting in. The light output is where you need it when driving. The lows light the road in front of you so much more than the OEM beams and the hight are straight out . The ablity to see on a dark counrty road is AMAZING I LOVE DRIVING AT NIGHT NOW. I have the 35w lows and 55w hight and i put on a 4-HI harmess. If you put these on you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Any issues with over heating anything with that setup and having lows and highs on at the same time? Does Corvette Mods also sell the 4-Hi wiring harness, and is it "plug-n-play"?

Anyone try the HID kit for lows, and then use a 4-Hi harness while keeping the OEM highs?

Thanks for the answer to the heat question ... what about my other questions?

1) Does Corvette Mods also sell the 4-Hi wiring harness, and is it "plug-n-play"?

2) Anyone try the HID kit for lows, and then use a 4-Hi harness while keeping the OEM highs?

I use low beams 90% of the time, so was wondering if going HID kit on lows and using a 4-Hi wiring harness so the low HIDs + high OEM bulbs on at the same time would give me decent "high beam lighting".

We don't but honestly it's not necessary with our kits. They are plenty bright!

I'm sure they are from what I'm hearing and seeing about them.

But I don't really want to do both low and high beams just to use high beams 10% of the time. I was thinking that using a 4-Hi harness would give pretty decent lighting without doing HID kits on both low and high beams.
