I did. I had $35 kit from eBay, and the HI-4 harness from George. WHEN it all worked, the lighting was terrific, and I never got flashed. I had so many problems with this kit I eventually pulled the whole thing out and and got a set of PIAA's best low beams and they are pretty good, but still don't compare to the HID's. I learned from a fellow owner who did the same conversion that one must buy good quality components.

Does the bucket resister come with the kit, or must you order it separately?

I have an American spec (as opposed to Euro spec!) Corvette here in the UK.
I have no idea what if any conversion was done for the lights to aim properly for driving on the left, but would be this kit be suitable for UK use and be able to be aimed correctly?

I don't see why not.

Have a basic question: Does one have to remove and replace the whole headlight(s) or just replace the bulbs? Hey, I'm not a mechanic.

It's basically a bulb replacement with an additional component

In Post #48 above, you say it's basically a bulb replacement with an "additional component".

1. What is the additional component?
2. Can you post installation instructions?

Thanks

the other part is the ballast that powers the bulb. It daisy chains into the wiring. Please send instruction requests to sales@corvettemods.com
