Congrats. Just drive it like the cops are always watching. They may be.
At your age I had a Chevelle SS with a tunnel ram. It was a major attraction for the cops. It may have been too what kept me alive and from doing anything stupid at that age. That and the fact I had a bunch of my own money wrapped into it.

Congratulations. My first car when I was 16 was a 1960 Corvette. I worked in a gas station and paid $1050.00 for it. Fifty-six years later, I still drive a Corvette. Always loved them. Just drive it as to consider everything and everyone that is around you.

I think it's easier now. C5s are depreciated and minimum wage jobs are over $20/hr. Live at home, start working at 16, work 1,000 hours and you have a C5.
