YouTube (and this Forum) to the rescue...
I was asked to cross-post this in the General Section. Hope this helps someone else out like it did me.
Just wanted to say thanks to the various posts on here about diagnosing and replacing the oil pressure sensor as well as the author of the following video:

Worked like a charm and no intake manifold removal! Toughest part was disengaging the clip from the connector. Who ever knew that wire coat hangers could be so useful.

Excellent post - haven't had to replace mine yet, but have saved the web location for that YouTube video for future reference.

Thanks for posting this.
It looks like a lot better choice than removing the intake or cutting a hole in the car.
It doesn't show how the coat hanger was used to disengage the clip. Can you give any more details on that? Did you have to bend up the hanger to a certain shape? Did the hanger have to push down on the clip while you pulled up on the wire or how did you get it to separate? Any more guidance would help.

I put a 90deg bend at the end with about a 1/2" sticking out. About 3"-4" further up I added a bit of an S shape (bent first in the same direction as the 1/2" piece below, then 1" later bending back to straight up) to help get it around the cowling. The bent out piece will be facing towards the front of the car to get in underneath the connector tab.

(When was the last time you saw ASCII art?!)
To use it, you slide it up underneath the clip until it starts to bend out (the clip), then you gently twist the hanger to disengage the clip while pulling up on the wires leading to the sensor.

Thanks for the added details.
