I have the SLP loudmouth axle back, love it. Wouldnt change it for anything. I have a cam now too and it's really loud but was pretty loud without the cam, sounded great.

I have the vid in here:

Never been pulled over for it either

Not sure how mine compare to the straight pipes but mine resonated stingers are quite loud. Loud enough for people to hear me a mile away. I would imagine the straights would be a bit louder. I haven't bee harrassed by the cops but I imagine they could if they wanted.

I have them. Very loud. Be prepared to have drone. And angry neighbors.

I run them on my daily driver Z06 from Mar-Dec tracking season. They are 35lbs lighter than my Bassani's. Sound awesome and are tolerable inside. Here is a quick vid of them at 150+ at Charlotte:

Sounds like you need a nice set of Electric Cutouts. I had them on my previous H/C car and the sound was incredible. It was nice to be able to close them during long drips, and open them up when I wanted to be noticed

I have an 02 Vette with borla x pipe and cat back. Sounds nice especially with the pair of long tube headers I have on. When I see cops, all I do is pop the clutch in and let it roll.

But then again, I am a 6 speed! Dont know about automatics.

Calif and straight pipes ??? Living dangerously comes to mind

Loud is an understatement. If you like heavy metal music all the time, well then maybe

At Full WOT inside the car it is close to 90dbs. at cruse more like 50 dbs.

Out side the car at full WOT fly by more like 110-112 dbs.

I wear ear plugs under my helmet on track and it is still loud
