Di-Noc Vinyl on Rear Fascia?
So, I have a question. I was interested in getting a rear diffuser for the C5 or something similar to dress it up, but I don't want to swap out the rear-end for a C6 rear. Has anybody tried putting a vinyl on the rear-fascia that is plasti-dipped black in this picture?
Just to dress up the back a little?

I'm just going to take a guess and say that's not his car - IL plates and profile says PA.
I would like to get my lower fascia vinyled this summer as I have a local guy who can do it for pretty cheap. As long as the vinyl can stand up to the exhaust heat I don't see an issue (and since people do their entire car in the stuff I'm betting it'd be fine). Doesn't look like a walk in the park to get those vents done right, but we'll see what he can do.

The problem with DiNOC is that to give it a hope of holding the contours on the vents, you would have to use the 3M Primer and that means you would probably ruin the paint underneath if you ever tried to remove it - so there may be no changing your mind later without the possibility of a repaint. That said, it would look great if done right and I am still considering it myself.

Never tried using the vinyl there, but I do think it would look good.
