This is the setup that has 8 individual throttle bodies? I would love to know how that works on a "fly by wire" setup. That would be REALLY cool if the computer could vary each one individually. You always hear about FI guys being terrified of the #8 running lean.
I'm also curious about your hood. Are you pulling fresh air into that area?
There was a guy locally who had a similar intake on an f-body. I never got to see it in person though.

The hood is a custom hood out of Harrisburg PA known as the Stinger hood...apology for the GF pic, but this the only pic I have in photobucket that shows you how I'm getting air to those VS's
I was running K&N cones filters on it before...

Very nice, that old school hot rod look really works here, IMO
When I read the topic I was thinking they where completely vertical stacks, how these bend under the hood is pretty sweet.
Do you have any pics of this setup not installed on the car?

I love that set up and really wanted one, but most of the tuners were SCARED of it. They said it was B*tch to tune, sure wish I would have done it now. ACP Corvette hoods bought that Stinger mold and are making it now. Very sweet ride and the GF is awesome. L8R ZFLASH

I think the IAT is taped into the first velocity stack on the Driver side...but Chuck at Corvettes of Westchester would be best to answer that one
(and thanks to my fellow C5er's for your generous comments )

That intake setup is absolutely stunning. I’d never heard of Harrop before I saw your post. Is the system …. I’m not sure how to express it …. "drivable" as a daily driver? Also, now that you have removed the K&N cones and put on the even more impressive filter “caps” at the ends of those beautiful velocity stacks, do they in fact have the capability of keeping sand and grit out of the engine? I take it that you fabricated the velocity stacks? They are beautiful congratulations.
I imagine that setup must cost a pretty penny and sounds like it took a bit of effort to tune but damn that’s got to be a definitive show winner every time you open the hood. Even that hood is pretty impressive. That’s one of the nicest setups I’ve seen on a C5.
