Would you trade up to a Tiger Shark kit?
What do you guys think would be a fair deal. Say I had a torch red C5 with a tiger shark front and rear kit on it, in perfect shape, perfect paint match and what not, and I wanted to trade someone for their stock torch red bumpers . Would I be able to get some cash on top for the trade?

No it would be even up. I'm always reminded on this forum how aftermarket mods lose all value once installed.
No seriously, I don't know what you would ask, other than somewhere between what a new set of OEM bumpers cost subtracted from your value of what you want for yours.

If it were me, I'd want some cash on top of the swap. But if it were me, I'd keep the TS front and rear fascias on the car unless you are planning to sell the car.

Even though I am not a fan of the Tiger Shark look, I would need to do a little research. First, what is the cost of a new OME front and rear bumper compared to the Tiger Shark? If you are taking in perfect shape stock for the same in the Tiger Shark then it really comes down to the difference in the cost of stock over Tiger Shark.

don't for get you have to mod the exhaust.or buy an corsa setup..and for someone with a red car...it would be a great deal with a little extra cash coming your way.

And JDMVette, that dual tip exhaust mod looks awsome! I would totally do that if I didn't already have the Callaway "DD" kit.

I never warmed up to the rear of the kits... The fronts are awesome though.

Ive made my decision. I am willing to do a straight trade for z06 front and rear red bumpers locally. I am on Long Island NY. Would like both parties to meet with the cars before deciding to commit. Thanks. Will post detailed pics asap.
