C6 six speed shift **** to shifter screw size ?
What is the size of the small screw that holds the c6 shift **** to the c6 shifter? Thanks in advance

Why would you post this in the C5 forum???? I posted the answer for the C5 shifter and just saw you were asking about a C6. Why not post this in the C6 forum??

I recorded that the MGW and stock C6 shifter are threaded for a M5 x .8 x 16 machine screw/bolt. Can't remember if I found that published or that was the bolt I found to fit. Don't blame me if incorrect and you lose 50 cents on a bolt. 
I had to run to a local hardware store and get one and a washer for my MGW (bought used, with no screw).
No clue if there was more than one thread type on the C6s, as the **** did change slightly in 08 or something vs the first C6 ***** (that screw hole position on the shifter shaft changed I believe).
