Adams metal polish after sanding, and they are mirror shine again !
Try that with a clear coated or painted wheel....

I had a flat tire last weekend, and got that patched. I used some Aluminum tape to cover the new ugly wheel weights. It looks better than without...
And I'm betting with the wife out of town this was done on the kitchen table to avoid the heat.

I knew it! And I don't blame ya a bit, just make sure you get any skid marks off the floor before she comes home.

First off you need wheels that will fit. TSW Nurburgrings do with 18/19 combo. Second you need GS or z06 Calipers, Pads, Rotors. Third you need stainless brake lines(you could mill the corners of the stock ones, but why). Take it all off and bolt on the GS/Z06 parts, bleed your brakes and enjoy.

Drove it to work, drove it home. Just like every day.

I did put gas in it yesterday.

I am building a receiver for a detachable front tow hook. Connects to the two skid bar bolts on the left side.

Replaced a leaking power steering high pressure hose....a huge PIA
Bleed the brakes
Flushed out the coolant
Changed out the clutch fluid
Removed my cowling, cut a hole in the inner cowling and installed a new oil pressure sensor
Cracked the cowling
Made a patch out of a piece of a milk carton and 5 min epoxy to fix the crack
Since you can still see the crack I started wet sanding the cowling in preparation of painting
Finished my third generation chin spoiler protective plate and installed under my ACI chin spoiler
Drank a cold beer

Had to turn my car back into a 4x4 as it's the only way that they can test the brakes on the rollers for the annual car inspection. Will be re-slamming it after the inspection as those enormous fender gaps are simply embarrassing.

It's too late now, but you could have changed out that oil sending unit without going through the cowl in about 10 minutes.

I have C6 wheels already, probably going to get either the ZR1 replica's or some form of C6 z06 reps as well since I have brand new tires on my 18/19 c6's already..

Someone had told me that there was all kinds of fab work that needed to be done for them to fit, etc, but I was finding it hard to believe.

Thanks "walter" lol

I got to drive it for the first time in three weeks. It's still fun. Just wish I had time to take it out more.

No problem. The hardest part is bleeding the 8 bleeders other than that its a brake job.
