I've been busy....
I've been very busy adding new mods to my 2000 AW coupe. I'm still not done, but I snapped some pretty good pics in front of LG Motorpsorts yesterday....
To give an idea of where I started, this is the "before" pic:
And after....
New CAI
Flush Mount Taillights
New Wheels & Grand Sport Stripes
You can see the LG Corvettes on the far side of mine in this pic:
This is just the start, I still have parts burying my kitchen table and other areas of the house that will be installed over the next week or two. I'm really enjoying the new look; she really stands out in a crowd, but the bowtie is gone. With the new mods the bowtie was just too much so it had to go.

Nice. How do you like that intake? I was considering it for mine but was worried about water getting sucked into it. Any concerns?
By the way I love the white, it was my first choice but I gave up looking after a few months and went black.

Very nice! You do know that you have now started down a path that may not have an end. Modding becomes a way of life!
I really like the silver Grand Sport stripes. I never saw that color on a white C5 before. Looks great. Subtle and not overwhelming.

White wasn't my first choice, but I'm liking it more and more every day.

When you run out of money.
That's exactly why I went with the silver over the red or black that most seem to go with. I wanted an understated accent and it turned out perfectly, plus it's different than anyone else's and I always prefer to be original.

Thanks! The new C6 Z51 sway bars and metal end links are on the way. I'll be lowering it as soon as I get those installed. I didn't want to put any more stress on the current end links than they're already under; they look like they could give out any second and I didn't want to take a chance.

Ed - your car is looking great - nice bunch of mods that you are doing to it. It's always fun doing things to make the car your own.

Thanks! The outside is done for now except for one more mod that will be installed later this week. It's time to start working on under the hood and the interior.

It's looking good Ed. I've owned an Ermine white ('64) and two Polar white ('79 & '89) Corvettes and I never grew tired of the color.
Now if you can just come up with some way to keep the weatherstripping from rusting in that damp climate.
Okie
