A few pics from a local vette show
Understand that I have no affiliation, nor do I care to have affiliation with a Corvette Club. My father who has owned 20+ Corvettes over the years, had asked me to attend this show this weekend with my car, and I agreed.
He has been in NCCC for many years was the president for many years, and has become a little active recently to renew old friendships.
So I grabbed forum members tbrent, pirate#3(rode shotgun) and we headed up to the show. It was a well attended show with at least 100 cars(never got a count).
I did get to park next to my dad, which was pretty fun. I spent several hours last week cutting and polishing his car to get it back to life. He has owned the car since '77 and it is a rare '69 427/435 L89, with mostly original paint.
Enjoy...
tbrent's bad *** ride
A shot of the 3 of us
My favorite car of the show '67 Sunfire Yellow Coupe 396 4 speed
Beautiful '54, my mom had one when we were kids
Love the black GT1 Z06

Nice pics and beautiful cars. So where in the KC area was the show held at?

Thanks my friend. I truly cherish the past few months where we have put several hours in working on his car together.

Nice pics! Looks like a good show.
However, why so down on Corvette clubs?
