VIN Decorder
Has anyone tried the VIN Decoder, and if so what did you find.
The reason I ask, is I tried it on a couple of C6's I am looking at and everyone comes back as a basic model and normally below the base price listed in the Corvette Black Book. So I then ran my C5's VIN and it came back as a base model, and way below the actual price.

The forum decoder isn't very accurate or complete. www.compnine.com is a better decoder to get accurate info.

The compnine one was very accurate - at least on my car.

Is it still free, or do they charge now?
when I used it in the past I agree, it was dead on accurate.
