Furture C5 Purchase Need to know things..
I am looking into buying a C5 Zo6 or Coupe/Targa Car soon 97-04, I got a couple of Questions..
1. In the First Yrs of this Gen whats there to watch out for?
2. Is Arttic White and Speedway white the same color and paint code?
3. If im going to put Exhaust, Cam, and Clutch in a car what the stuff to watch out for on certain yrs?
4. Can you pull the motor out w out taking the Rear end, Trq Tube, and things off? In other wrds are u able to unbolt the block from the bell houseing and pull the motor and stick it back in the car and have a chance at getting the splines back in the clutch disc? Thx

1) Well if you're looking for a Z06, they didnt start until 2001 so that excludes the early year cars.
2) I dont know but dont think so.
3) Not much, as far as those mods go you can do that with any year for the same cost and same results. Might be something better about the Z06 intake (which I believe was included on all C5's after 2001).
4) Way past my experience, but hold up a bit....we have a lotts guys that do this ......constantly......just for kicks
