Just to be absolutely certain, are we talking about the EBCM?

C1255......is an internal EBCM code..... The sub codes are not listed on the GM website....

They are mostly for the use of the GM engineers when talking to the dealer techs.

I have to imagine they suggest to check all wheel speed sensors anong with power and grounds first....

After that we gotta tear it open and check the areas where I fix them...

We could fix one in advance and then swap it out to see if you get the same problem...

That's how I narrowed it down on the fix we did yesterday.

I have a 2001, but if I had an earlier model with an EBCM issue I would send it to him to fix out of honor for his efforts. You guys need to support him.

Agree 100%..... When the Ohio snow blows I'll pull mine off and see what we can see........ As long as it is the EBCM we are talking about which sits right behind the radiator on a 2000 model.

CALL ME BEFORE SENDING ANY ABS UNIT.

As I said earlier, I'll help anyone I can, but I can't promise to fix all of them,

Nor do I want to turn this place into a 97-00 ABS REPAIR SHOP.

Call first, let's talk about it....and if I can I will help you.

Having the whole car here is much easier cause I can do the diag myself

and then VERIFY it's right before sending it out.

Thanks!

Well done!. DId you buy a new relay? I realize you dont' want to sepnd all your time repairing, but if a relay change can fix it,, I have done the door module already on my C5 by changing the relay and not afraid to tackle another one.

This one is WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...... MORE than "just a relay change".

By comparison, the Door Module is effortless.....

Did you try Digikey.com? Search under relays. Or try this: http://www.webstandards.biz/bosch.asp?idcodice=0 332 019 152

Just hope you are ready for a good time doing this since Chuck didn't say it was a no brainer: just the opposite was implied. Good luck.
