What is "blue tint glass" targa top? A guy on craigslist has one, is this standard?

What is "blue tint glass" targa top? A guy on craigslist has one, is this standard?
He says the glass is tinted blue.. never heard of that. I have a dark green c5 and definitely don't want a blue top-- unless thats what all the glass c5 tops are and I just never noticed the tint...

There was an option to buy a lexan glass top for the car. From outside it looks black and on the inside it appears blue. I have both tops but have never had the body colored top on because it was damaged by the previous owner.

I have never heard of a brown tinted targa top for the C5 - the Corvette Black Book lists only a blue tinted one and I know my '99 came with a blue tint top as did my '00 and now my '03. But as mentioned above, the top looks black from the outside and would go well with a green car.

When new the coupe came standard with the colored roof panel.
The buyer could opt to have the tinted roof panel for $750......and forfeit the colored roof panel.
Or pay $1,200 and have both.

I believe that they're all blue tinted.

When I bought mine new coupe in 2001 I purchased only the sunroof. The standard tint at that time was blue - It appears Black from the outside but blue from the inside looking out. After several years the coating failed and I tried to purchase a new blue tinted one on the open market but only found brown tint. Someday I will refinish the old one - I really like seeing the blue sky - maybe just living in New Mexico.
