I have a B&M shifter in my car, and tried to install one of my Hurst shift ***** on it, and did not fit. The B&M shaft is bigger that the stock C5 Shaft? Never had this problem before. Anyone else encounter this? Thanks....

Yes I have a B&M ripper shifter with a white Hurst ball and it works great!

Part number 45044 is the shifter I have

Mine has a straight silver shaft. I have tried my black Hurst ball, then my white one. Neither will screw right on?
