Any other C5 owners NOT live on a paved road?
I know I'm setting myself up for piles of jokes here, but am I the only C5 owner who does not live on a paved road?
The reason I ask is it seems like every C5 I see (or C6 for that matter) is always clean and shined up, whether it be in person or in some of you guy's pics. I've got a 1/4 mile ride down a dirt driveway every time I leave or come home, and I can't keep mine clean for more than a day or two at a time. God help me if it rains.
Bottom line is, I'm jealous.

Drifting
It's been YEARS since I've lived even near a paved road. My 2001 only had 2 years in a paved neighborhood. For 2 years I had no garage and that was in Nevada. If I want to look good, it's detailing every week, but I don't do it.

Yes! 256ft unpaved driveway and gravel road(s) to get out. I just drive 5 mph to the paved area. Only on nice days, so really it isn't an issue.
The small sacrifice is nothing compared to living in a paved area full of people who like to live on top of each other.

Un -Paved Road
I live about a mile from a paved road, have gotten in the habit of once I get to the end of my unpaved road I wipe the vette down with a micro cloth and sometimes even use my leaf blower when I return home, its always covered in dust!!!!LOL Can't stand a dirty car, especially the Vette!!!!!

I feel for you guys. Many years I lived on a dirt road, and had a black T/A. By the time it got out on the highway, well.... you could see the dust blowing off of it, and that was driving REAL slow on the dirt road! When it rained and was muddy, I drove something else!
When we bought my in-laws place, on the highway, it didn't take any time at all to fall in love with the paved road, except when they are sealing! I remember, many years ago it was sealed every couple of years, but now rarely gets done. Just hope I'm not out in the little yellow ride when they decide to do it!

Yes I live on one of those dreaded rock roads. Yes the car is dusty, most of the time, but my love is driving the '01Z. One thing about it, the dust will not slow it down!

My driveway is paved, but the road I live on is nothing but sand. I can detail the car, and then drive down the road and the tires look brown at the best - worst case the whole car is covered in dust.
I carry a thing of tire shine so I can wipe down the tires so it doesnt look like a truck running thru mud going down the road.
