Rent a storeage unite for a while and part it out. Are the rims damaged at all, i would be interested in them. For the right price, good luck.

I figured I'd update this with the results, since it may help someone later on.

After initially telling me that all the mods were "maintenance items" that didn't add value since they were installed more than 6 months prior, I submitted descriptions of each major modification. I didn't have receipts, of course, since they were added to the car at least 2 owners ago.

The adjusters reconsidered the parts and added more than 10% to their original number. I accepted that, case closed. This was all with State Farm, btw.

Still a crappy deal. I'd rather have the car back, but at least they made it right.
