Whenever a painter tells you it will be ready in a couple days or a week. Don't hold your breath, especially if they are doing a good job. This stuff always takes longer than estimated.

That looks like the exact same orange I had on my first car. You will definitely get a lot of attention, trust me. You'll likely get some negative attention, but since it's a Corvette I'm sure the majority will compliment it.
I don't even want to mention the car I had, but "rice" is a good description... 11 years after selling it I'm still embarrassed by it
Your car looks like it's coming along great, can't wait to see it with the ZR1 wheels.

I got sick of waiting for week after week so I decided to rent a Uhaul trailer and make the 22 hour round trip and go get her back! Pics are coming now.

So glad she's home. I spent all of yesterday and today detailing her and getting rid of all of the primer dust from the paint job, couldn't be more happy with the outcome. I'm so sorry to keep you all waiting, I was growing very impatient on anyone else trying to get it home so I took it into my own hands. I get some pretty insane looks when people see an 18 year old driving this! Little do they know the title is in my hand

Interior has a lot of work left to do, but yesterday I switched out the shift boot with an actual leather one with orange stiching and the shift **** with a black pearl ball with pattern from Speed Dawg.
As for the footwells and trunk lights, I just decided to swap em' out with LEDs because I had them laying around.
The cord you see is my auxiliary conversion from Dennis @ Double D mods, love it and couldn't have been any more simple of an installation.

When I read the first post, and you said Orange...I wasn't sure I'd dig it. However, that thing looks great. Love the combo.
For what it's worth, I feel your pain. Mine is coming back from paint on Saturday, and I have a giant pile of parts waiting for install...Can't wait to get it back, then tear it apart.
